FIR has filed 'The Kapil Sharma Show' for allegedly disrespecting the courts

FIR has been filed against the creators of the popular TV show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in an episode in which the actors who make up the court scene are seen drinking alcohol. Complaints about the program accuse the organizers of disrespecting the court. According to the complaint, the episode which was allegedly broadcast in January 2020 and re-broadcast in April 2021, showed the scene where the actors of the play were seen drinking alcohol during a court hearing. This did not sit well with Suresh Dhakad, a lawyer for Madhya Pradesh, who filed a complaint against the show's producers at the Shivpuri Regional Court in Madhya Pradesh.

After filing the complaint, the lawyer reportedly said, “The Kapil Sharma Show show on Sony TV is negligent. They also use vulgar language in women. In one of the episodes, a court was set up on stage and the actors were seen drinking alcohol in public. This is contempt of court. That is why I have sought the registration of the FIR for those convicted under Section 356/3 in court. Such reckless demonstrations should be stopped. ”

"In court, the actor arrives on stage with a bottle of alcohol and urges other people to enjoy it," the lawyer told reporters. “This incident shows the dignity of the court. It should also have issued an official warning, which it did not. ”

The case is being registered against the game's anchor Kapil Sharma and Sony TV's Parliamentary Director Singh under the IT Act and Excise Act, according to Dhakad. The case is set to be heard on October 1, 2021. However, Kapil Sharma has not yet responded to the allegations.
